15” and 15.5″ Square Pony GP
The 15 and 15 1/2-inch saddles are ideal saddles for pony games as they have a flatter seat. It is a scaled-down model of an adult GP saddle, with serge panels and an adjustable tree. It is designed on a flatter tree and tends to fit ponies better than more deeper-seated trees.
16″ and 16.5″ Pony GP
The Pony general purpose/GP saddle is suitable for general purpose riding and is one of our most popular saddles. It is like the adult GP, which is also available in 16.5″, but is designed for the smaller rider.
Pony Show Saddle
The Pony Show saddle is a straighter cut saddle to allow more fluid movement of the pony’s shoulder, maximum freedom of movement behind the shoulder. It also shows off the shoulder in the show ring. It is only available in full leather in the Genoa range. It comes with a suede seat and knee pads as standard. This saddle also has a fixed thigh roll in addition to the fixed front rolls. This saddle is distinguishable for its thigh pad in the back of the flap.
Pony Working Hunter Show
The Pony Working Hunter saddle is a straighter cut saddle to allow more fluid movement of the pony’s shoulder, maximum freedom of movement behind the shoulder. It also shows off the shoulder in the show ring. This only has a front Velcro knee block and is available in Verona, Vicenza and Genoa. Available in a lower range. This saddle is distinguishable for its thigh pad in the back of the flap.
Pony Dressage Saddle
The Saddle Company are one of few saddle makers to make a specialised pony dressage saddle. Based on all the characteristics of an adult dressage saddle, but in proportion for ponies and the junior rider.
Pony Jumping Saddle
The Pony Jumping Saddle is a forward cut saddle with front and back knee blocks (Velcro) on a flat, close contact tree.
14″ Pony Saddles
This is the smallest saddle in The Saddle Company range. It is a scaled-down model of an adult GP saddle, with serge panels and an adjustable tree.
The main difference with this saddle is that the stirrup bars are held by a metal loop riveted to the tree so that it is very secure but can expand in and out, not held in a fixed position, to ensure that they don’t dig into the pony’s side. As a result, they are kinder to ponies, especially the wider fitting ones.
This saddle is only available in the GP Show and the Straight cut Working Hunter model.
