Forward Girth
The Anatomical Forward Girth has been available from The Saddle Company for the last ten years. It is available in Black or Brown and a large range of sizes.
The underside padding is made from a soft, smooth, and flexible calfskin. The outer side is sturdy leather with The Saddle Company Logo engrained. The roller buckles feature strong doubled elastic on both sides.
The girth is shaped to have an anatomical arc that contours forward and around the horse’s elbows while allowing the girth straps to sit farther back.
The girth’s contoured shape allows the saddle to be properly positioned behind the horse’s shoulder blades whilst keeping the girth at 90 degrees to the floor.

Competition Non-Slip Girth
A synthetic girth with durable nylon outer and a removable non-slip neoprene lining.
This lining makes the girth very secure and helps alleviate any slipping. It has elastic both ends for balance and ease of use. The buckles are stainless steel roller buckles to aid the rider when fastening the girth. This girth also has a D ring for attaching training aids.
Thoroughbreds and Cobs particularly benefit from this style of girth.
A synthetic sheepskin liner can also be purchased for use with this girth. Ideal for horses with more sensitive skin. This girth is perfect for competitive or general use.
Dressage T Bar Stirrup Leathers
Our T Bar dressage stirrup leathers are made from soft calfskin leather. They are nonstretch with a nylon centre to prevent stretching.
The T bar fastener eliminates the bulk of the buckles and excess leather, ensuring the rider can maintain close contact with the horse.
The top loop fastens to the bars of the saddle. The bottom t bar is used to adjust the length of the leathers. The leathers are available in black in sizes 24″, 28″ and 32″.
Natural Leather Feed
Our Natural Leather Feed has been designed to provide a natural protective coat that will help keep the leather soft, supple, and extend its life.
The process of producing leather strips it of its natural oils and makes it prone to drying out. Therefore, it is important to take care of new leather. Feeding it can drastically prolong its life, improve its flexibility, protect it from the elements, and prevent drying out and cracking.
Our natural formula has been designed to replace lost oils whilst protecting the leather supplied in xxxg tubs.
Saddle Covers
Our saddle covers are made from a lightly showerproof fabric, in Saddle Company colours, with our logo embossed in gold colour.
Elasticated around the edges, it will fit your saddle snugly and keep it clean and lightly protected.
Knee Blocks
Replacement moulded knee blocks with a Velcro backing as supplied with all our saddles.
There are 4 styles of knee block:
- Pony
- Deep GP
- Shallow Curved GP
- Large Dressage
- The knee blocks come in one colour – black and are sold in pairs.
Stirrup Leathers
Our stirrup leathers are made from soft calfskin leather, so they are gentle on your saddle and comfortable on your legs. They are non stretch with a nylon centre to prevent stretching.
The leathers are available in black and brown in sizes 48″ to 60″.
